Privacy notice

Fledged Technologies Ltd ("Fledged", "we") operates fledged.uk, a UK newco intelligence platform.

Personal data we process

We process two distinct categories of data:

  1. Company-level data from the Companies House public register (company number, name, status, type, incorporation date, registered office address, SIC codes). This is public information and is not personal data in itself.
  2. Officer + PSC personal data from the same register (officer names, role, appointment/resignation dates, partial date of birth, correspondence address, nationality, country of residence). This is personal data and is treated as such throughout the platform.

Lawful basis

For company-level processing we rely on legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Our Legitimate Interest Assessment is published at /legal/lia and summarises the balancing test we conducted before launch.

Officer personal data is shown only in the per-company detail page, in the browser, while authenticated. There is no bulk export, no list endpoint, no search across officers, and no third-party enrichment. The architecture enforces this separation at the database level: the application database role cannot read the personal schema.

Retention

Raw Companies House envelopes are retained for 365 days for replay and audit. Company-level data is retained for the life of the service. Officer personal data is refreshed in line with Companies House updates and removed when the public register removes it.

Your rights

You can request removal from internal lead-gen visibility at /legal/suppression. You can also exercise UK GDPR rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection by emailing privacy@fledged.uk.

Sub-processors

Our current sub-processor list is published at docs/COMPLIANCE.mdin the source repository and updated when changes happen. The list includes Postmark (email delivery), Stripe (subscription billing), Hetzner (hosting), and our S3-compatible storage provider.
